Humanity in New York City

I have always heard about the spirit of big cities but yesterday I experienced it. From long time I was looking for standing desk at home so that I can be more productive at home. Last week I found a nice deal at one of the store near Time Square. I called the owner and asked if I can come around 6pm. She said she has some plans in the evening and had to leave the office by 5pm, so please try to come before 5pm.

I reached there by 4pm and verified the automated standing desk and purchased it. The desk was bigger than I thought. Initially I thought I can use Uber to transport it but after seeing the desk I realized that it was too big for SUV.  Also when I moved to New York I sold my car as car parking is expensive in New York.

I came out of the shop and I realized that there was a pick up truck with two men standing near it. I asked them if they can help me out moving that desk to my home. Fortunately they were going in the same direction. They helped me moving my desk to my home.
